Due to COVID-19 The Royal Society needed an alternative way of holding their high-profile 2021 conference. The Collective provided a full-service solution to create, support and execute taking their Commonwealth Science Conference to another level as a virtual experience. Key to success was enabling extensive networking and collaboration to bring together over 365 outstanding early career researchers and established scientists from across the globe for a four-day virtual conference.
The mix of live & pre-recorded content included 39 sessions broadcast as live across 12 time zones with 87 speakers from different countries taking part across plenary, multiple workshops, panels sessions, breakouts and live moderated Q&A.
The outstanding design, content creation, filming, editing and full technical support, meant this event exceeded expectations on what a virtual experience could deliver.
